Saxophonist and vocalist, born September 14, 1926 in Algona, Iowa. Joined Welk in 1951 playing the sax and appearing in several music numbers as a soloist, in choral arrangments and most importantly...with the girls like Alice Lon, Gail Farrell and Kathie Sullivan just to name a few. Still performs regularly with Welk alumni in shows like "Forever Blowing Bubbles" and "Live Lawrence Welk Show." Lives today in Sparks, NV with wife Marquerite. He is the proud father of four children and one grandchild.
